Bible Fellowship Affiliation

The Bible Fellowship Church of Newark, Delaware is affiliated with the Bible Fellowship Church Denomination. The BFC Denomination is strongly evangelical in purpose and effort. It was founded in 1858, and today, there are 70 congregations in the BFC Denomination located in seven States (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Connecticut, Virginia and New Mexico) and in Mexico.

Our doctrinal emphases include:

salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ
transformed life through new birth by the Holy Spirit
the authority and trustworthiness of the Bible as the Word of God
the culmination of history in the second coming of Jesus
a shared-life in the church of believers, with every-member responsibility for the propagation of the Gospel by evangelism and missions
