Sermon Notes –
- The foundation of our salvation is God’s love for us.
- John 3:16 – For God so loved the world,[a] that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
- Romans 5:8 – …but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
- John 12:41-43 – …for they loved the glory that comes from man more than the glory that comes from God.
- The engine of our maturity is our love for Jesus.
- John 14:15 – If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
- John 13:34 – A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.
- John 15:12 – This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
- A deep love for Jesus and a deep desire.
